I am considering retrofitting the aircon out of my swb into the lwb , but am wondering as to how good it will work in summer. I was hoping to be able to use it on trips this summer with the kids and the inlaws. i prefer the window method, but a 3 mth old baby and a 2yr old wont

Im guessing it may be ok as long as i tint all the windows, etc. The aircon is still gassed up fairly well, so could i just retro fit it all and then regass it and be in busness.

The lwb had aircon, but i felt the need for a air compressor.

Just dont wanna spend the time and $$ only to be left dissapointed.

Thanks

dunno about your airco, but mines a hum-dinga. never been regassed since new and its freezin cold. Has survived hot summers in The Alice and Tennant Creek (were talking 45 plus) and has never let me down.

Well.. i did shagg the airco belt about 5 years ago, but that was due to a ceased idler pully.

Cant yell loud enough that those aircos in the MK are damm good. Though ofcourse your milage may vary!
