Hey,
i know there are differences but does anyone know if there is a difference between the non-4wd light and 4wd light 1L case in the input shaft or any other internal parts.
reason for asking I have a lighted 4wd 1L case with noisy front shaft/bearings. option to change over.

The non-4wd switch transfer is pretty different internally, and I don't think any of the gears are interchangeable. The main thing I remember from when I saw one in bits was that the counter shaft gear doesn't run on needle rollers on a shaft, instead the gear has a little stub shaft out each end that runs in a bearing in the case.

Yep, splines are different on the input shaft too.... they're pretty different. No interchangeable parts. AFAIK

for doing the rocklobster are the 1L gears in any way the same?
i got the 1l box without switch cheap and the gears may be of use. or if someone wants a 1L box (christover?) let me know

it will be minus the shifter as thats going in my other 1L box with switch.

I don't beleive anything that applies to a shift light case can work on a non shift light case.
