Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi all,

Was just wondering if anyone had used a Garrett GT30 on a TD42 and if so what setup they used..

From the Garrett site the GT30 is the high-flowed version in the T25-8 flange range..

There are a number of GT 30 turbos, I have used them on TD 42 and 1Hz in comp trucks and they work well if you have all the other mods, pump, injectors, intercooler and so on. The 30 turbos have a T3 flange not the 28 flange unless you do some mods and fit the 28 exhaust housing which I have also dont with sucess. Im not going to be too specific about part no's and stuff as at the end of the day a fair bit of R&D has gone into this stuff and a mans got to make a living.
Wouldnt suggest it for a stock set up.

Thanks for that, its going to be a fairly stockish setup so I might just stick with the GT2860RS Disco spud..
