Have done a search but can't seem to find anything. Has anyone done a home made snorkel on their 80 series? Was thinking of getting some ideas instead of paying for $300-$500 for a safari.

thanks to another forum I just got this. Looks the goods:

4" stailess steel pipe (forgot how long)
1 X 4" rubber 90 degree bend
2 X 4" rubber 45 degree bend
1 X 4" - 3" rubber bend (this will go straight onto the air box
7 X 4" hose clamps
a mouting bracket with i just made from a bracket that i chopped up
a peice of rubber to go around the hole to make it look neat
a small peice of rubber to go between the hose clamps and the pannal
6 teck screws (2 to go in through 2 of the hose clamps and 4 for the bracket)


i got all the bends from a mate who works for volvo truck, you can go to any truck place or order them in at penrite
i got the pipe from a metal joint so same deal you can get them from any were
