I'm far from a car theif and ya std run of the mill immobiliser took me around an extra 5 minute's to bypass
add that to the 15 second's to get into a patrol and it's still not much chop.

get a micro sensor, go near the car and it warns you, then stay near the car and get closer (close to the windows etc...) and it goes off.
i used to have a few "locals" around my area have a look in the back of the jabber when i parked outside work, then the warning would go off and id come outside and they would act all innocent (not knowing i been watching the whole time)
with all these cars being stolen lately people shoul look into kill switches, alarms, micro sensors, and anything else that cn stop these I'm gayer than aids! from stealing our cars..

know a guy that kept getting his xc falcon stolen (3 times in a year with full viper alarm system) they would just go for a joy ride rack up tickets and dumdp it with some smashed windows. he added a ball valve to his fuel line under the rear wheel arch. get out turn it off and the car is safe. two times at chermside shopping centre his car went missing and he found it at the exit stalled.... called the cops and they went the long way back to the station with him in the back with the crook.
try a fuel cut switch. get technical and add it electronically to the dash.

Feel for ya buddy,
I had mine stolen for about a month and got it back with only a few cosmetic injuries, staked MTR and a missing dvd player. They couldn't kill the thing says alot for the strength of the patrol imo
I didn't find the police to be of any help, they were VERY nice though... but not of any real help.
Is there anywhere near where you are that random cnunts take cars for joyrides and dump them ? Do you know anyone who is in the ricerrrr scene that might now a few dodgies who know a few dodgies etc etc if you catch my drift ?!
Best of luck... + free bump..
