valve clearances on td 42

Is doing valve clearances on gq td42 the same method as doing a petrol motor as in sequence? I've worked on plenty of petrol motors but trying to learn more about diesel.

Its the same method but the sequence is different.
I did my petrol motor today and it mentioned the 2 different sequences in the manual.

No. 1 at the front. No 1 at TDC on compression
do 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 9
rotate 360 degrees and
do 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12
