can anybody advise mo on whether i need an engineers report after fitting new sport seats to my mav.im told i do by the seat retailers.

technically yes.

but are they obviously different? if not you could just wing it...we did in a lada niva.

although the sports seat i put in my corolla are engineered.

and thirdly, if you use a factory seat, and factory mounts, then you shouldnt have to is my understanding.
