Rear Drive D/C in patrol transfer. ?!?

Hai,
After watching a few sweet videos on you tube of people using front digs to great affect, I am now wondering if anyone has modded their wagon or shorty to allow doing them (front digs). I'm more interested in how this kind of setup works in a full bodied rig
on the trails, rather than in a buggy. From what I have heard the transfer case cannot simply be modded to allow this.
As far as solitions go, aside from getting out and yanking of the rear shaft (hur hur hur
), I am aware of the yuri 4x4 disconnect http://www.yuri4x4.com/rear_drive.php as being a possible option. It looks absolutely gorgeous and I can appreciate why it costs so much, but it is a little out of my price range. By the look of the website carlton has/had one on his buggy..
I am aware that Trail Tuff http://www.izook.com/spy/trailtough/trailtough.htm make one for the zook/yota boys and girls, it seems a little more in my price range perhaps. Has anyone modded the trail tough unit to fit onto a gq transfer case ? How hard would it be to do it ?
As the handbrake is transfer case mounted this then leaves the problem of locking up the rear wheels. What would be the easiest solution here ? Line Lock the rear ? Custom Handbrake ? Cutting Brakes ?
It's a stupid pipe dream idea that just wont leave me alone
Thoughts outers people ?
