Quite easily actually
All factory parts are used and it is a straight bolt in
The car is an early model 1 litre and the engine is a late model so as long as the emmision controls that were fitted to the engine from the factory were used then no problem.

i thought so,
as long as you use a newer motor in an old car you are fine?
the older cars dont have as much regulations with emisions etc.....

They have been complianced, or the vehicle that they are a donor, can be complianced to meet ADR's.

only works if the donor motor (IE SR20) was also sold in a Grey import that has complience in Asutralia, IE silvia
lots of engines come in that arent in a car that can be complied so you have to get emmision$$$ tests done
