GU Rear door - opening

Anyone found a cheap solution to the small rear door on the GU that doesnt open fully ?? fuckin annoying.
I see black widow do a replacement limiting arm, anyone else done anything?

Man you should search you bogan this has been done before.
But it was ages ago.
There is a mod that can be done to them so it will go all the way. I think my brother has it on his 03 wagon. I will check with him.

I thought Roly had done it yonks ago, by drilling another hole in the bracket, but dude looked at his today and says there isnt enough meat in the OEM one to drill another hole... couldnt find the thread by roly here or on the yahoogroup.

Well in that case I will pull my head in and shut up.
The limiting thing on a GQ isnt able to be fitted is it?
If so I just so have one you can have. I will measure it in the morning.

Just buy the black widow one, its easy as to install, and if you cover up your car you can cut the old stud out without taking anything apart, take about 5 mins and $29
