Hello, my F50 is out of my garage, his first drive was in the romanian Transylvania Adventure Trophy, 1800km from home and one of the hardcore events in europe
(check the video from last year on there website: http://www.transilvania-trophy.com )
We started to build 38 days before the start of the event, we started with a empty chassis from a F50, put on F20 axles with disc brakes on the front, a Rocky 2.8 turbo diesel, a Rocky powersteering, and a original 5-speed gearbox with original transfercase with original PTO-case for the original frontwinch. We mounted 3 more winches (GEW10.000, it is a copy from warn) and a strong selfmade rollcage.
We left the suspension like original and do not place a bodylift, but we must do a lot of fendercutting to put on the 36.6 inch fedima tyres.

The night before take off, we worked all night till 7 in the morning and than push it on the trailer to drive the 1800km. In romania we worked onother day from 13.00u till 05.00u to fix electrics and brakes and at 9.00u we started the first stage.

After 3 days and a few minor problems (driving 20km without brakes one day, losing the front wheel the next day), we are good in the ranking, but then we broke the rear right halfshaft, and we forget the spare ones at home, so the race was over.

So here are some pics:

It looks so cute :D

The tyres look massive compared to the car, did they scrub at all? There doesn't look to be much clearance when sitting on level ground.

Very good build up in such a short time frame. Well done
Go the Rocky 2.8TD... powerhouse

Was just flipping through some old 4x4 magazines. early 90s...
Noticed that the Daihatsu F20-F40, Wildcat, Blizzard, Scat have performmed very well in this event.
Well great work.
