we just recently made one for matees car, but its not a complete one, comes along the chassis and dumps and the side step, might not be what you want though, do you want any pics?

Ive got a full mandrell bent 3" exhaust on my HZJ80, runs inside the chassis rail all the way. Also sits about 2" above the bottom edge of the chassis rail, nice and high and out of harms way.

My 1HDT 80s has full 3", from flange to tip, and it exits in the standard spot. It's great. Made a huge difference, and fits easily.

Yeh i need to cut the dump pipe back a bit as it rattles on the side step mount then it has to turn up and over to come inside the chassis rail then i was just going to run a straight thur muffler and dump it just after the back diff. some photos would be great if you guys could post them

Yep, have 3" mandrel, from after market turbo right to rear of vehicle basically along the same lines as the original.

Beaudesert Exhausts (Qld, sth of brissy) did mine for me, but it was a custom fit because of the after market turbo.

If you have a stock vehicle they can supply them in kit form for you to fit.
Cheers,
Stinger

Yeh mine would have to be a custom job cos the dump pipe rattles on the side step and need to be cut back a bit.

i think its illegal in every state for a wagon

exhaust has to extend to the very rear of the cab, so on a ute your great :)

living in outer gold coast dont really get looked at much even with the lifted and loud 4wd

I think it was around the $700 mark (was nearly 12 months ago) which was great value considering it took all day for them to fit it.

Hi,

Does anyone have any pics of a 3 inch system being done. It looks like it would be very tight.

Did you stay with the current path or did you go down the inside of the chassis rails?

Did you use mandral bends or just standard 3 inch pipe.

Thanks for the info and sorry for the thread hi jack.

bump,

Anyone have any pictures of the 3inch system down the inside of the chassis. It looks very tight in there. I do not have a body lift and I do not want one.
