Fuel Pump

Post by bravo »

ok i have a 3F engine with a mechanical fuel pump.
The fuel pump has the usual inlet, outlet, and carby fuel outlet lines.
At the bottom of the fuel pump there are 2 holes on opposite sides of the pump. I assume these are breather holes. Well my pump started to shoot a fuel oil mixture out of these holes resulting in alot of swearing and thinking of a large bank account decrease, not to mention a shit load of oil and fuel on my driveway.
Here is the thing, it was fine when the standard carby was on it, and i have just put a holley 350 on it and while trying to tune it up this happend.

So here are my questions:
1) Is my fuel pump stuffed
2) Is it caused because of a different carby and if i put the original carby back on will it be ok
3) Is this a monumental engine f**k out
