Got a turbo glide turbo on my maberick and the big donaldson 44 gallon drum air cleaner box, I have been told that these are great air cleaners but the motor can get a guts full of water as it takes the from the engine bay. How can I get over this?

Johno, I was just talking to them today about this and they said that a snorkel would fit. Their latest installation involves ditching the main filter housing and replacing the pre cleaner with a filter housing that takes a KN filter. It looks like a neat fit and gives better access to glow plugs, injectors, etc. Is that the one you're talking about? They abandoned the original Donaldson drum because it took up the space where the second battery would go.
