Outer Limits 4x4 Board

have just replaced inj pump with new one with fuel turned up to max, its in a 2000 gu 4.2 turbo, running 16 psi. was running fine till swap, now has a really bad knocking sound, just wondering if the timing could be out as i did line it up like old 1 with pen marks as a guide, or is something else possibley wrong, doesnt overheat but no torque low and sounds real bad. any help greatly appreciated. just a note i did change one a while ago with no probs.

Is there lots of smoke?

Try winding the fuel back.

some modded injector pumps can be realy "clacky" with the fuel wound up.
but for the sake of 200 bucs if you are unsure go get it tuned by the pros

cheers guys turned it down slightly till noise dissapeared, just blows a bit of smoke now
