Outer Limits 4x4 Board

gday i need to remove the sliding window surrounds for repairs on my 86 4runner canopy as there rusted and dont know how to remove them if anyone has done this or knows how to do this your help would help me out heaps. thank you

From memory you have to remove the entire sliding window. Once the window is removed you can access the nuts that hold the window surrounds on.

The windows are held in with some sort of silicon, can't remember the name of it. I remember the guy that removed my windows used heavy gauge fishing line to cut through the silicon to remove the window from the canopy.
