I have the same problem when it has been raining , i get in the car and when i go around the corner water pours over my feet , but usually my right foot....can't find anything blocking ... i thought maybe my soft top was not sealing properly....but this has got me beat too.
it's were the windscreen folds up and kisses the main body. there is a hole there for the aerial wire to go through. fold your windscreen down and seal all the way across the body.
no more wet foot!
WANTED: swb vitara rear seat. the 3 seater bench type
for sale: wt diffs, snake hi steer, maruti 4.1 wt centres,
on the hardtop there is actually a small rubber hose which is up under the dash to the right of the heater box (on the firewall) this may not be all the way on and could be dripping onto your feet.
this hose is the one that drains from the grill on your bonnet down through the dash and back through the firewall and has a 90 degree bend on the engine bay side..
sorry i dont know the name but get a torch and put your head under you will see what i mean

the vent between the windscreen and the bonnet is where fresh air is drawn in for the heater/demister. This gets clogged with leaves and mud. If you look in the engine bay on the firewall there is a 90Ëš rubber vent coming out. You need to clean this out. I used to use a coat hanger and gently pry around and clear it out. When it is blocked water runs down the vent and drips off the tube onto your feet

I was going to say the same; the only thing is Fool-Injected reckons its his right foot...
I'm assuming the car is RHD.
BTW, removing the air box component that collects the leaves mud etc, is a reasonably time consuming job. Just for anyone who needs to do it, and needs to make time, leave at least half a day I reckon.
Wheeling on completely wicked angles, without even looking stable.
Double what Grimbo said and triple what Highway star says.
Its one of those pita jobs that has to be done and a added bonus the heater works properly afterwards
While you have it apart I put fly screen between the air box and the body so now nothing else falls into anymore.

Or do what I did and get in there with a hole saw then just gaffa tape it back up again, works perfect now

X2 mine did exactly the same thing. In my case it had rusted away a bit around the hole. I welded up a new plate around the aerial, bogged it up and painted it. Problem fixed
Not related to the water leak , but you have a few good leads there .
Want a fast way to remove the heater assy . I was wanting to take mine out as its not used , but would not come out easily . Gave up and carried on modding the car for a nissan engine , had to weld a patch on the firewall . carefully removed the carpet from the back and welded the patch on . Once finished I decided there was too much smoke coming from the body . At this point I should say the body tub was suspended from the roof while I was welding up the chassis . Went to get fire ext but some little hands had moved it , option two got the hose into the shed . No water , was a kink in it . Outside again unkinked the hose and back in the shed . By this time the flames were a good foot high out of the air vent infront of the windscreen . Jammed the hose down there and it went out , .
Seems some carpet fell back down and caught fire , this set the leaves in the bottom of the heater assy alight so the fire was burning inside it . Needless to say it was half the size and fell right out once the fire was out .
