i really dont think its that much effort and i cant see how a bought one is any stronger that me bending some tube and cutting and shutting a standard one surely it could not be that much stronger than standard the snake one has a clamp style on each end
just my .02 correct me if i am wrong

Pesonaly buy one what pipe are you going to use and superior ones have a jam/lock nut style not a clamp that'll strech over time.

I'd want to be pretty confident in my skills before making any steering parts though. Not the sort of thing you want to give out, our look half baked when/if you got pulled over.

phippsy i loved that link that is really funny
i was actually going to make a direct copy of the superior one buying his ends that are threaded using cromolly tube with tig welded ends much the same as a 4 link set up where the tie rod screws in to on drag cars as i have had a bit of experience with this but it seems no one has tried to make one so i cant get the measurements i need so looks like i will have to part with 330 and buy one
i think superiors are the go are there any others besides supereior and snake

Just go crossover. It is not that expensive (now with the TG steering arms being cheap as chips)
An ifs box is only a couple of hundred, sounds like you have the fab skills to mount it yourself as well as make up the tie rod/drag link etc.
