ive got a 1999 GU patrol st 2.8td
i bought the car about a month ago and i wanted to find out if its supposed to have remote central locking ? it has central locking but i only recieved one key with the car and im not sure if its ment to have remotes or not ?
did this model patrol come out standard with the remotes ?

No only keyed central locking on that year

i think there may have been a factory option but definately not on the key head itself

Easy ... get your VIN and ring Nissan ...

If it's anything like my 2000 model, it may be sitting there already for nissan to charge you heaps for a fitment... If you look in behind the dash, above the glove box and there is a little white box (about 100x100x40), it's already there. I found mine by accident when fitting a second gove box where the passenger airbag is meant to go - if it was optioned for it.

It's easy enough to take a look and see if one's fitted before you go buying one, but giving Nissan a call might be helpfull too. If it is fitted, you still need to get a coded key ring for it anyway.
