Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Have a top shift gear drive transfer case that has some up and down movement in the rear output flange?

Would this sugguest rear bearing is stuffed or worn?

Transfer was rebuilt with new bearings etc when dual cases were put in 6 months or so ago.

Tried to tighten the nut on the shaft but it's already tight.

Take the flange off and see weather the play is in the bearings or the spline. That would be the first thing to do.

Are you talking about the splines on the output flange?
