Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Just bought a 2nd hand engel and was wondering if they come with a users manual eg. info on best settings, care and maintenance etc?

Do they require a service or regas at all?

Also, its the model before the ones with the digital temp screen. The settins on the dial it has off, cool, 1 Ref, 2, 3, 4, 5 Freeze.

I was wondering what the 1 Ref means?

I'm only guessing but I would say the REF stands for refrigerate, because if you go much higher than that it will freeze.

I run mine on the F of REF and it keeps it at around 3-4 degrees celcius.

Yeh thanks, on closer inspection there is actually a little silver placard on the lid that explains all.
