1997 Xtra cab chassis
My xtra cab chassis has been twisted would I be able to use a d/cab or s/cab chassis as I can't find a xtra cab chassis.cheers
You can but it will be a fair bit of extra work.
For 1 the wheel base on the extra cab is longer than dual and single.
Also the rear cab mounts will need to cut off the chasi and moved for the different sized cab.
Also tray mounts will probably be in different spots too.

A new tailshaft would be easier and cheaperwalux1 wrote:Thanks ausyota does that also mean I have to move rear leaf spring mounts as well.
None of the cabs swap to other chassis too easily, I would keep ringing around or buy a complete car in bad shape and part it out.
