Window not winding

G'day,
As the title says my window isn't winding in either direction. It sounds as tho the the gear that the window winder is attached to, the one behind the door structure.
What could any possible fixes for this?
The lock is also rooted on the door. Would it be easier just to get 2 new doors and an ignition tunnel?
