hey i have a auto locker in my front, while i was wheeling the other weekend i got stuck on a hill and one of my front wheels wasn't spinning. i thought a had done a cv but when i spin the cv it turns my diff.
Is this normle or do i have issues?

I just had the same issue with my detroit locker. Your gunna have to pull the diff out and have a look at the pins and springs. The springs in my locker had gotten really weak after a while and had managed to slip past the locating pins in the locker. And the springs didnt have enough force to hold the plates against the gears causing it to not wanna lock up. I bought an upgade kit for $70 to replace the pins and springs
hope this helps ya out
(P:S i never done in a cv so i donno what the symptoms are) ;)

well how would you go with a welded diff for rego?i have been thinking lately that if i keep my sierra i will take out my welded diff and replace it with a auto locker but then you hear alot of ppl say pins break, springs screw up etc.so if my welded diff will pass im happy with it.or i spose i gotta just chase up a second diff centre for rego days maybe.....
