Start with a piece of 8mm by 70mm and weld it to the bottom of your diff then cut bend reweld then cut again bend and reweld. You can do this across the diff aswell.

Took me two something hours to whip this bit of crappy engineering up about two months ago. Yep, always in a hurry and never do things properly. Ignore date on camera, only took these today 3/sep. It sort of came out all right, but could do with a bit of a touch up which I'll never do. Angle grinder, GMC $99 stick welder and a big hammer. 8mm plate up front, about 4 mm plate going across.
I was scared to heck at welding on the housing with stick, but in the end, said bugger it and just did it.
Tad bit cheaper than Snakeracings awesome looking guard.
What Ludacris did to the front, I'll probably end up doing that on my rear.
