2 inch is just a rough guide.... the actual queensland rule WAS 30 percent increase in bump space increase.

when are the new mod laws coming into play?

DOT and i have had a little bit of history together they are a mob of pricks its the price u pay i guess best u can do is get everything engineered and plated

I have heard from 2 people now that some time in late october the laws on allowable tyre sizes will change in Queensland. But its been vague both times, and I really don't expect anything usefull.

to the best of my knowledge which is speaking to an engineer 3 weeks ago they are here allready..... engineered is the key now.

chunder from wht the engineer told you will it be pretty staright foward to get in engineered or will it be a shi* fight?

you would have to speak to him, i dont know the laws about it he was just happy to let me do what i wanted.

But find what the factory bump stop clearance is. I tried to find it for a Cruiser and ended up hitting a brick wall every time.
I was surprised that a body lift and a spring lift can be done together. It isn't as bad as I thought.
Be interesting to see the new laws. And if they send me an update for the Code of Practice for light vehicles that I bought 4 months ago.
