cleaning recovery gear

how do you clean your recovery gear i put my straps in the washing machine then hang them on the line dont know if this is a good idea

Pressure Washer! at home or when you go to car wash when you get home from a day out. Easy

So long as your wife doesn't kill you, that's probably the best way.
A pressure washer (which I use) isn't ideal as it can blow grit INTO rather than out of a strap, weakening it.
don't leave them on the line for too long, UV will weaken them too.

Washing machine away dude
Use a warm (not hot) wash and mild detergent. Don't use fabric softener (I am serious
)

yeh I hose mine down first then the missus puts them in the washing machine.
