HZJ105 Jerking

In my '98 1HZ w/ Auto box it occasionally gets up a jerky oscillation at about 60km/hr when it drops into overdrive. I suspicous the engine mounts may be worn and not damping the oscillation. The whole car starts jerking back and forward unless you get on or orr the throttle. Only happens sometimes.

Has anyone else seen this?

Thanx

I believe it's an injection pump related issue, hold off the OD until you reach a higher road speed.

I should have added, it mostly does it when it enters that speed / rpm range slowing down. Accelerating is mostly fine unless I use very light throttle on a very flat road.

If you drive with OD off it also occurs ..?

Negative. It's a medium speed, low rpm harmonic oscillation. I have heard some cars have dampers or specific engine mounts to stop this. Unsure on the cruiser.
