Outer Limits 4x4 Board

any advice on whats causing my front diff to lock up when i engage the centre diff lock button on my cruiser 80 series, i have replaced cv joints and wheel bearings.
Is it the diff centre?

would think it maybe .. drain the oil have a look for metal particals in the oil...should be quick indication
