wouldn't surprise me if you would do nose stands with those sorta brakes

The mount brkts dont look that good .

......maybe its the pics ....but I would be wary (sp) some1 should try this upgrade with a better built mount setup

Hmmm
They don't actually look that much better than sierra calipers, and those brackets look uber hack.
They must be from an ancient 3 series as they have ventilated discs now. In any case, i reckon they're off the rear of an old 3, so that woudl mean they don't really need to be any better than a sierra front.
They might be better, but I wonder what the minimum rotor thickness permitted is for those calipers? sierra rotors are unususally thin.
With vitara calipers a bolt on.... I think i'd be giving this a wide berth.
(PS, i have always been impressed with the stopping power of a stock sierra in good nick, even with big tyres, it's the rear that seems to be where the problems lie.)

i agree steve front brakes work well on sierra's, but rears are all over the shop lol

After recently redo my brakes alround I agree with the guys above Zook brake are good
If you keep them up to scratch they will easily 'put you throught the windscreen'
BTW thats with 31s too

I'm on stock rubber and the brakes are fin awesome!
Did a driver training day with Ian Luff the other week and beat a heap of new ABS equipped cars (in the dry that is, in the wet it was everywhere)

Now that you have a zook it might of been more appropriate to attend a Stay Upright course

I got 4w discs now anyway.
stops good but too good at the back now (waiting on parts to fix at moment)

i put the vented Vit brakes on mine and even with the stock rear drums it pulls up alot better than it did stock.
