hi boys i just put my hilux diffs in my sierra and i have a vitara p/s to fit with them but i was looking out the p/s of bundera it sits on top and out side the chassis rather than all in side i need a bigger radiator and changing to bundera or similar would give me ample room for a bigger radiator has any one done this.

sorry to hijack but it might be similar question to yours remydog

Pretty shaw you can use most toyota pitman arms, think the 2wheel drive hilux one are nice and short if thats what you need, but i use a 75series arm on mine as its the same length as the 60s but dos'nt step down as far so you dont need to get it retappered.

offroader-rama ,i think the bundy box is similar-same ? as the 60 series.

mine with the 60 box has allowed more rad intercooler room

where on the chassis did you mount it 60s/ bundera and did you point the pitman arm forward or backward im finding the best place at moment is over trhe chassis number and i dont think that will go down well in future with the engineer etc... I'm thinking of moving my diff forward and the P/S box back facing the pitman arm forward but to do so i have to cut most of the bump stop mount.

you cant just put the pitman arm on anyway they are geared to go either forwards or backwards u put it on the rong way and u will turn right instead of left

mine mounted over the chassis number but was still visable when the ps box was pulled off

 .i realised that it had to go one way after i nearly stuffed up and mounted it backward  but now i have cut the bump stops off it will go there i am conserned with diff hitting the shaft the pitman arms is attached to. i still have to put the diff back in again this time on wt mounts moved forward slightly to aviod the diff hitting the shaft and allow for 35's.
allso its going to be a very short steering colum.

I will keep updated
thanks
