33's + Rims offset + IFS Hilux

Post by KaMo »

Good morning,

I have a '04 IFS Hilux with SR5 Mags that are supposedly +8 offset.

I am trying to get a set of steelies to run 33's and can only get Navara offset -7 or landcruiser offset -28. (This is what all the tyre shops are telling me anyway)

What offset are those of you running 33's on your IFS hiluxs using?

Thanks.

With 1.5" suspension and 2" body lift I ran 33s no worries on my 98 with cruiser offset.
Toy: 98 TJ with some mods and some bling
Tourer and daily: 120 Prado with some mods

Thanks mate just what i was wanting to hear. I can pick up a set of 5 @ landcruiser offset with a 90% 33" MT/R for a good price. I was worried about the big change in offset but.

They didn't stick out of the guard at all did they?

Cheers guys.

Went and tried some 33's on this afternoon. They were on a 15x10 rim with cruiser offset according to my measurements. I will have no trouble clearing 33's with the body lift but it looked way tubby with the 15x10's. Hopefully only going with 15x8's will bring them back in a bit.

Mines's 2" body lifted ('03) with a bit (less than 15mm) of torsion lift. I run 285/75/16's on the old cruiser offset.

Some grinding was required on the sr5 flares at the rear, but apart from that - all good.
