Is the Jimny transfer the same as the one in my coiler?

Um, very close, should fit fine but unsure of any specifics.

Speedo drive is different, electronic the Jimny, not sure it interchanges.

wellsey, externally like Gwagensteve said, speedo drive is different you might be able to install all the gear dive bits from your coily one second the gear selector is different the jimny shifter comes out the top of the box where the coily has a remote shifter coming from the front of the box, low range ratio is slightly different coily- 2.123, Jimny (with g13bb)-2.145.

notice the gear selector differences and compare them to the distance from the input flange, gear stick probably won't meet the hole in the floor.

should be able to bend the shifter to line up with the hole in the floor.

are jimny cases also chain driven ?? what sort of reduction options do they have.

sam' If you want a coily transfer theres one for $150 on ebay right now! bent the shifter yeah maybe if you have seen them in real life you would understand there is a lot bending to happen there are a few reduction kits available from Japan (apio) and a company in italy does a kit too yes both are chain driven boxes they use a plantery gear reduction system to provide high and low ratios.

i'd go a gear drive case out of an early zook you get better reduction options and the chains can stretch and need replacing.

I'm back to a standard coily case after destroying a set of trail tough 6.4's
and i gets a horrible shudder at take off...

what mods have you done or do you have in mind for your zook
