hilux rear coil spring rate

i am getting a set of custom rear coils made for my hilux single cab ute, what rate springs have people used. i have heard 130lb/in springs being used but sound a bit soft????
also has anyone had a hilux weighed to find out how much weight is over the rear axle, with a steel tray.

No direct answer for your question but to get an idea the Prado 90 series LWB can use OME890 ( medium load . aka soft ) that have 190 lb/in spring rate ..

Hey Steve
I'm running 180s in the rear and it has about 900kg on them. It is just right for the comp work but no good to carry a spare, dog and esky.
