i did this today. used a hairdryer to help get the stickers off. after that i soaked a rag with turps and wiped it over the panels. then used a plastic gyprok spatula to scrape it off, but the spatula scratched the paint when it dug in in the corners, fingernails also helped.
wax and grease remover works best you can buy it from supercheap

i ripped the stickers of my old ss commodore and then cleaned it with wax and grease remover and it clean it easy
just do a little bit frist and see how you go mate

watch using wax and grease remover i used it on the missus buzz box to get rid of tar and it took the shine of the paint where i did it and yes i washed it start after with soap and water. It looked like it took part of the clear coat off. all that stuff is, Is dielutted thinners

That's because prepsol takes the polish off the paint, once wou've used it, you ned to repolish

I can vouge for the SuperCheap Wax and Grease Remover!!! I just had the pleasure of removing the entire 10yo sun-baked-on sign writting from my old work van
Razor blade might help but be careful of the paint and your fingers lol
Try and wear gloves of some descrption, it dries your skin out quite badly!
PS Rubber gloves melt in an instant!

Petrol worked the best for me too, got it off in no time. Tried wax remover but very slow.
Years ago i removed the stickers from a 60 i had using prepsol. That really got it off fast. As Mud Club said ..polish after.....then ya free to scratch the shit out of it in the bush...
