ummm.
i'm guessing anyone who owns a factory toyota/landrover/nissan coil sprung fourby would have a leading arm and panhard on the front end.
i reckon a little more info would help answer your question.
are you looking to do a conversion? are you after info regarding handling characteristics? what is it you are actually asking?
i'm only having a light go at ya mate

but we need more info

still remains the same, what is it your asking about this setup and why?
i'm looking at doing a coil conversion at some point so i guess i'd be interested in finding out how these would handle on the front of a truck

ok have a look in my members there is a fair bit in there on it...
im useing RHS links... they look ugly but are strong 40x40x4 rhs with GQ eyes in the end...
bottom links meet basicly in the center of the chassi... and tops are similar..
you will needa bout 200mm of virtical seperation....

check out flynns rolux, plenty of pics still in there. but i only did it on the front. rear was an Aframe. not the best setup, not the best workmanship but it did what it had to do and still is.
his front setup is 3 link panhard, works as good as the back but has smaller shocks. lowers and 6mm plate customs by bubs, upper is a bit of tube again by bubs. the new ones will be straight out of 10mm tube.

if so then put in an upper link, and remove the rear bolts out of the arms
mine goes alright and it uses paj arms and 500mm upper

Why go 3+panhard and not a-frame or 4 link? Because the panhard is already in?
Hey Russell, Matt, Hollebon. Long time. Passing through in the next month or two Russell. I'll call in and see the family.

It can be difficult getting upper links/A-frame to clear sump in the front. 3-link and phard is proven to work well.

Plus you dont end up with big steering geometry changes.
With a four link the diff stays exactly centered under the vehicle as it droops, with a 3 link and panhard the diff moves in an arc under the vehicle, if done correctly it moves in the same arc as the drag link.

True for the front guys, but this is in the back.

Oh right. I read it as he already had coil rear so he wanted to convert the front too. My mistake.
