mate do a spring lift first if you can affordit, but if you cant do a 2" body lift and 2" spring lift later down the track.....

wat size tyres do you want to run? a mq will run 33s witha 2 " springlift no worries.

cheers

IT ALREADY HAS A 2 INCH SPRING LIFT, HOWEVER I WAS WONDERING IF A SPRING OVER IS BETTER OR IF I SHOULD JUST RESET MY SPRINGS TO 4 INCHES AND PUT A 2 INCH BODY LIFT IN IT. IF I DO WHAT IS INVOLVED, EG WITH THE BODY AND SPRING LIFT WILL I NEED TO EXTEND BRAKE LINES, STEERING ETC!!!!!

I WAS HOPING TO GO AS BIG AS POSS WITH THE TYRES WITHOUT TOO MUCH HEADACHES, EG ENGINEERING LIMITS AND CUTTING BODY.

33 OR 35S SOUND GOOD TOO ME!!

i have done a shite load of study for my planed build up on my mk, there is alot involved in doing a spring ova but the results seem to be well worth the hassle... i am planning on keeping costs down by doing alot if not all of the work myself, also why it will take about 10x longer than if i were to fork out thousands which i dont have for someone else to do the work. my plans at this stage is spring ova and guard chop, body lift if i have too but will cross that bridge when i get too it.

if your running larger than 33's it would be a good idea to look into changing diff gears, alot of things you have to take into concideration when lifting and fitting big rubber, not as straight forward as you think.

i would recomend hold off on your mods and do your research, drive your truck standard and see what holds you up look into it and investigate what can be done...... SEARCH IS YOUR FRIEND, members threads seem to be the best sorce of info.. As the forums tend to turn into pissing contests more often than not

I had an mq 2"ext shackles,2" raised springs,2" body lift heaps of clearance for 35s but only ran 33s was told low range would be almost non existant unless gears were changed & it still worked fine with 33s so didnt bother with bigger rubber + cops left me alone  bonus

flat old springs sprung over and no body lift is a good option, shackel reversal too.

I have a 3/4inch body lift but only cause of my motor and box and t-case conversion.

what he said. flatten ur springs then go a spring over. try and keep the rig AS LOW as possible, whats with u nissan boys wanting big lift kits for bigger tyres. dont be scared grind ur guards.

Also depending where your getting rego, iam not too certian that SPO is legal everywhere. Though iam sure someone here has the legal jist on that. Cant realy remeber, but it was something i ran into when doing my research.
