Outer Limits 4x4 Board

ive just recieved new front arms for my GU.

how hard are they to replace for 1 person.

any do's and dont's

seems staight forward.

i guess i should do 1 arm at a time.otherwise both off ,might make a mess

I did mine on my own including springs, shocks, panhard and steering stabilser in about 4 hours.

chock all wheels hand brake on and away you go put my snake arms on myself about an hour and yes i removed them both at the same time , but you will need to jack the axle back around to refit just take your time and be safe arr also need to remove steering link bar at rear for access thats about it cheers

They are an easy job. Best to do one side at a time. You may need to push the wheel forward to get the bolts back in cause the are a bit longer than standard arms. Also you may need to take one bolt out of the opposite side to get the diff rotation to get the bolts back in. You wont know your car. They make so much difference it's unbelieveable. The axle wants to go over bumps not under em. You will know what i mean on your first drive.

I think it would be easier to pull the springs out. So then you can take all the load of the pin bushes.
Also last time I had an arm off, I found it easier to pull the tie rod off on one side.
