I had this problem on a VL Commodore I once owned. I pulled the car apart, replacing wheel bearings and all sorts of stuff. After about $1k worth of stuff, turned out it was the hubcap loose in the wheel rim

I doubt this is your problem, but it should prompt you to have a look around everything and make sure it's all tight before you go throwing money away :)

Just grab a socket set and a screw driver and go over everything in the rear assembly. If the nut/botl/screw moves, chances are it should be tightened. No more than two clicks of the elbow though :P

i had a few in the past.

1. my shock was rubbing metal on metal coz the rubber bush was missing, so check all bushes around the whole car .

2. dust in the drums. brakes squeak on car all the time so check that

thats all that i had and can think of.

good luck

Soon the squeak will stop .. it will become a rumble cos your wheel bearing is toast
