linking compressors

Hey all,

i have a few jobs to do at home that require bulk compressed air.

I have 3 decent compressors available (mine, dads, and a mate's), all are about 15cfm.

what would be the best way to go about linking them to one regulator. Is it as simple as Tpiece'ing into the line before the regulator or would i need one way valves?

also, how critical would it be for the start/stop solenoids to have exactly the same cut in/out pressures

Best option would be to use one pressure switch to run all 3 compressors.

Just realised you want a temporary solution - teeing them together before the reg would be fine - Whichever compressor has the highest setting will determine which pressure the whole system will stop att - the individual compressors will shut off at different times but no biggie.

Thanks mate

running sanders and blasters really eats the air

run them on individual power circuits if you can otherwise you might trip your circuit breakers.

good point, but having them kick in at slightly different pressures should help with the start up load I would think.
