I'm trying to set up sterring in my sprung over hilux diffs in my sierra now i know you can weld the arms that go from the diffs swivel hub to drag link but i cant remember if you weld a left and right back to back or to lefts which would move it away from the wheel but shortens the steering arm from power steer box which i am useing a bundera P/S box and arms / steer dampaner etc.. i think you use a left and right just want to make shore.

you weld a left to left and cut the bull horn thingy on the right of .
obviously the tie rod left stays as normal than you get another left and gring the top of it and the one on your tie rod than flip the 2nd one upsidedown and put it on top and weld together and plate between the to arms , not forgetting to drill/diegrind the top arm 4 holes big enough to get a 14 mm (or is it 12mm carn't remember ) socket thru it to get to the king pin bolts under neath .
make sense ?
check out superior engineering web site they have pics of them already made both welded ones and cast ones as well .
heres a pic of mine

dont take any notice of the draglink being bolted up from the bottom , it bolts up from the top i just had it that way checking clearance issues
cheers Jai

thanks but its to late i got carried away and cleaned up a right and tacked it to the left cut a triangle out of 8mm plate to weld in tacked that then sat in position, then felt like a real nob head its left on left otherwise you cant put the wheel back on DOH oh well i thought i was on a good thing as i had three sets of left and rights i thought i could make 3 sell 2 keep 1
now all i can do is one and a half.
