My new 4.2 Nissan patrol with not even 20k on the clock had a done the EGR pipe the other day.
Yep no dramas but im on a work trip in brissie and i have to be on the boat home form Melbourne on wed arv. Nissan here cant seem to track another down yet.

So.... Whats the options about not having one and doing 2000km
Will the old girl be alright?

my bro inlaws dad did this 7 times, he ended up driving around with it i think

i take it that the EGR pipe has cracked/broken making quite a noise.

if so block it off, disable the EGR butterfly system (not 100% sure how it operates on the 4.2) and don't tell nissan
