fj40 temp gauge/where? (ANYONE?) PLEEAASSSSEEEE

hey guys,my temp gauge hasnt worked for the last week along with my oil temp gauge (got the oil gauge fixed today from forum info)
just wondering where the tem gauge wire is conected to on the 2f motor, thanks fellas, any pics would be awsome,''

P>S someone sail it would be under the thermostat bet have no idea where that is or wtf it looks like :oops:

the thermostate housing has the top radiator hose going to it from the rad

Yep, as said the thermostat housing is what the top radiator hose attaches to. The temp sender on a 2F however is not on the thermostat housing. It scews into the top of the cylinder head on the passenger side rear. If you stand at the passenger front guard and look in you can see the inlet manifold. Inlet manifold bolts to the head at 3 points. Standing on passenger side it will be left, centre and right. You will find the temp sender directly above where the right inlet manfold pipe bolts to the head.

If the wire has fallen off make sure you close the connecting plug up a bit when you put it back on so it connects firmly and doesnt fall off again.

awsome mate,thanks 4 the help, i found it but it hasnt fallen off,the gauge is prob farked.
