Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hi
i know i know..do a search and i have.
just want to clarrify that 4.3 diffs centres out of a 92 3.0l patrol will fit my 4.5l
i just know that the 4.5 has a big rear pumkin diff, bigger then other model patrols.buying second hand and the items will be posted so i just wanted to check they'l fit.
do i need just the centres or all the whole box and dice out of the diffs.

well if you have the big rear diff the diffs from a 3.0L wont fit even if you get the whole center the crown wheel and pinion will be to small.

Your only option is to put the complete GQ diff (disc to disc) under your GU wagon. If you want a large genuine 4.3 crown wheel and pinion you can only find them in gu 3L manual/auto not sure i think there was always a mix and match.

gu leaf cab chassis also had 4.3, I could be mistaken but the last gu front I got was supposed to be from a leaf n it had 4.3 gears

hmmm sounds like the old rb30 diffs wont fit!
so if i can round up some diffs from a zd30 they should fit in?!
i was all keen to get these 4.3 diffs to..good price!anyway
no one want to get rid of there gu 4.3 diffs do they

does anyone know why the 4.5's had a bigger diffs in the ass?? it definately wasn't because of there amazing power..

yeah i thought some utes came out with 4.3's..must have been the leaf sprung ones.!

i am definatly after some 4.3 ratios for my GQ

i put 4.3 gears out of a 2005GU in to my 88GQ
