i have a ray jay Model 325 EF80 turbo ive tried to contact them direct as this turbo came with no wastegate is it possible that this turbo runs with out a waste gate????

External wastegates are easy enough to find.

If it has no wastegate then it was designed for a very specific purpose and very well matched to the engine. You will need to find out details of the turbo to see if its ok for what u want to do. As kiwi bacon said, you can use an external wastegate.

I know the 60 series 2H aftermarket kits often ran with no wastegate in the system, they seemed to cope and had plenty of poke.

There are plenty turbo kits available with no wastegate .. but it means are perfect ( or pretty close ) designed and matchet to the target engine ..

To hard to play with it .. unless you have the exact engine or something else that share the numbers ..

Just run an external gate, you can get them from any performance shop or even autobarn, or just let her run as much boost as it can put out its only a cruiser
