Hi,

Wondering if anyone could help, a mate just bought a 89 Pajero Super Wagon 2.5L Turbo Diesel, (NG I think???)

we are doing the usual service for a new car, and went the change the air filter insert and its an oval shape. Went to repco and they said they have not seen one like it.

Has anybody had one of these vehicle and if so where dod you get your Air Filter from?

Thanks Heaps

genuine only- and thus expensive.

You can retro fit an Australian air filter box, as there are some aftermarket options for these, depends on how much the surround costs.

Cheers

thanks for your reply - they are expensive from mitsu.

I by chance stopped in at a truck spares place and got one, apparently its off a mitsubishi/fuso truck and is identical.

Got it for $29 so bought 3 of them. lol

Hey guys,

I just registered on this board, because the infos in this thread helped me to get an airfilter for my 89 nf imported Paj - took an awful while though.

So the info about the Wesfill filter is correct.

It's an "Wesfill WA 1124/A1225 interchangable with Mitsubishi Pajero early model". With this infos, anyone in your favourite parts shop should be able to get one.

Thanks guys - hope that helps someone on the long run.
