I have a friend who is trying to spot a transfer for a Rocky (the European Rocky) and we cant find anything here in Greece. Does anyone know if we can use anoter transfer from another vehicle like a TOYOTA one? (which model can be used). The ROCKY its a 1600 litre (as far as i know only 1.8 and 2.0 litre ROcky engines excist) which i have never seen before.

DAMN, THATS HUGE!!
Rocky, as in the same looks as the one in your aviter? AKA, Feroza everywhere else? Or a proper Rocky?
If it where a diesel you can do a gearbox swap with a daihatsu tipper truck gearbox, and then a landcruiser t/case will bolt up behind that, apparently (heard from mechaninc who spoke the a gearbox specialist).
But 1.6 rocky What the?

Not like the Avatar the normal ROCKY i mean but its not diesel. We might go and fit a 2 liter turbo rocky engine and gearbox we will see but first we need to see if we can fix or change the cracked gearbox if we cant

2L turbo Rocky engine? We only recieved the 2L petrol, 2.8 diesel and 2.8 turbo diesel here in Aus.
Do you know any more info about this 1.6L engine? Like if it is from another car also, that may assist you with gearbox options.

The egnine is stock in not from another car. The problem is that the rear axle center (the turtle round thing) is little bit to the right side of the car (like all Rockys) here in greece i have never seen another car like a Toyota with the same axle fit that could be used to a Rocky. I will try to take some pictures when i get to the car. From some pictures on the net i believe that is not an original Rocky but more lickely a TOYOTA 4RUNNER.

My rear has an offset too not as much as the front though.
The left axle is about 2.5'' longer.(broke 1 a coupla years ago)
