i just thought i would share this with you guys for thought if you are running wheel spacers.
your wheel spacer is aluminium and it seats with a tapered steel nut when you turn your locker on the inside wheel is acting like a little hammer mushrooming the tapered aluminium witch will cause your wheel spacer to come loose and of she comes
i found this out with the torana i use to own big tyres aluminium wheels and a full spool(locked diff) they also seated on a tapered steel nut
the solution is drill the hole in the wheel spacer out bigger and use a shouldered nut (the one like dragway or weld wheels use)
i just thought i would share this as i know a guy who just lost his rear wheel and have since found out that it is a pretty common problem
let me know what you think
