Just got a toyota shorty wot to do next?

Im new to 4X4ing and just got a toyota FRP SWB. can anyone give me any ideas on wot to do to her. I wes thinking of a 2" lift and going a bit softer. Is this a good idea? :?:

decent set of tyres make a world of difference wait to you decide what lift your doing till you go for size.

snorkel always helps when you bonnet deep :cool:

Go for a full 4" lift too.

change the engine oil and filter, check the gearbox, transfer and diff oils. Put some fuel in it, grab a water bottle and go and drive it. Thats what i would be doing to her. Dont go doing any mods untill you have driven it for awhile and think seriously about what you actually need. Just drive it for now and have fun.

Good advice actually.

Yes, get to know your vehicle, put any problem right. Have a good look around for a few months doing some serious research....then start thinking about tyres and suspension etc etc
