yeah, my odometer is working perfectly
and the trip meter works
it just won't re-set to zero...
i guess its a plastic cog or spring loose or soemthing simple once you have the whole dash apart

Trick for resetting ours is to shove the button a bit, poke it in a few times and don't be affraid to be a little rough with it.
I have no idea what you do with your 80, so I'm not going to direct this at you... But I've seen no real reason to spend the time and effort fixing the thing...
Just a note though, the 80 series dash is ALOT easier to dismantle and reassemble than you might think... Was a 5-10 minute job for us to reposition the UHF (and you have to take most of the dash panel off to do it)

I'd assume its the early one... its a 1993.

The biggest problem I found with the 80s dash was removing and refitting the speedo cable. The later ones had an electronic drive off the gearbox. Mine was late 92 and had a cable drive. Not sure what the 93 will have.
